A robust climbing pack for those with a particular penchant for the snow shod slopes and icy crags of Scotland in winter or – if you must – the high Alps, although it will serve you just as well at Stanage. Like its lightweight cousin, the Speed 30, the Epic 35 features ‘swingarm’ shoulder straps that keep the weight of the pack more central as you climb, and allowing your arms just that little more freedom. The back system and hipbelt itself, however, are a little more substantial than those on the Speed 30 and Speed 40; an excellent guide-style pack built to  perform and to last.
