The classic DMM Aero is a brilliant sports climbing carabiner, burly enough to survive multiple dogging sessions and clips beautifully. The new keylock nose makes clipping and unclipping even easier.

The hot-forged, solid gate Aero carabiner delivers a strong 24kN gate closed and 9kN gate open strength for extra safety. It's shrouded nose helps protect the gate from accidentally opening and the rope groove directs any loads against the spine.

The carabiner is a good size for all-round use and has a nice wide 20mm gate opening, so that even clipping thick webbing is easy.

We have also taken great care to curve the body into the gate so that there is minimal chance of anything hanging up at the gate/body intersection. This makes the chance of the carabiner being loaded away from the spine much smaller and thus helps create a safer carabiner.

The milled out gate provides a positive recess for your thumb, hopefully minimising fumble clips. A solid spring pressure lets you clip quickly, but is strong enough to minimise the chances of gate flutter.

The DMM Aero is completely anodised to help combat corrosion and prolong life in hot, damp or salty environments.
