The DMM Aero Screwgate is a good value, offset D locking karabiner with keylock nose*.  We think this karabiner delivers a new standard for entry level screwgates.

The robust construction gives the Aero Screwgate 25kN major axis and 9kN gate open strengths. Thick walled 7075 gate barrels can resist 5kN inward force for extra safety. The DMM Aero Screwgate is fully anodised to protect against corrosion.

The minimum rope radius is 10mm this rises to 10.3mm on the main rope bearing surfaces to reduce rope wear. The 17mm gate opening lets you clip rope, wire or tape with ease. The weight comes in at 59g.

*Keylock noses are notchless and make clipping and unclipping smoother, especially if the sling, gear or bolt is already weighted by your partner.
