DMM have once again used their revolutionary i-beam technology and totally redesigned their popular Belay Master for 2009. It's patented plastic clip locks across the gate, a fail-safe check that the biner is closed securely. The clip also stops the carabiner from rotating in the belay system and being cross loaded. The krab itself is a mid-sized HMS with a large rope radius and soft angles on the top bar, this means it works well with the vast majority of conventional belay devices.  All these attributes make this an ideal belay krab for groups or beginners.
