The Petzl Tibloc is the smallest, simplest and lightest ascender on the market. It is designed to replace the prusik often carried on big routes. Used with a round bar krab it works really quite well, the fierce teeth grip muddy or icy ropes effectively.

A useful piece of kit when you might need to climb ropes for a short distance or haul a pack for a couple of pitches.

For use with single ropes from 8 to 11mm.
