EDELRIDS Advanced rope treatment is a hydro and oleo phobic fluorocarbon based coating. This special treatment is applied to each individual fibre of the rope providing long lasting and best allround protection against wet and dirty conditions

Thermal Stabilisation

EDELRID has been using a thermal stabilisation process for more than 20 years. The thermal stabilisation is one of the main processes that give EDELRID ropes their pleasant soft touch and easy handling. As the name implies the yarns in the core and sheath undergo a heat treatment cure to stabilise and harmonise the individual yarns. This cannot be removed or washed out and ensures a longer lifespan for the ropes.
