Highland Outcrops is the eagerly awaited, long overdue, cragging guide for the Central Highlands. The coverage is roughly the triangle formed by Oban, Perth and Inverness. This catches the classic crags of Creag Dubh at Newtonmore, Creag a'Barns at Dunkeld, the Dirc Mhor, Glen Nevis and Glen Ogle. On these and the other chunks of steepness there are some 1600 described routes. Descriptions are theusual text, accompnaied by line drawings of individual buttresses. Colour photo's give a flavour of the climbing to be found.
