Better Bouldering is John Sherman, one of the elder statesmen of modern bouldering, delivering advice. He's the one responsible for V grades (his nickname is Vermin). As usual for Verm this book has nuggets of really good ideas, right from page one. It also, refreshingly, takes a light hearted, scurrilous tone throughout.
