Crete, as well as beaches, has climbing. Although rarely visited by Brits our fellow Europeans, and the locals are arriving in increasing numbers.
This new climbing guide covers the handful of sites around Kapetanianá overlooking the southern coast of Crete and nestled in the shadow of Mount Kófinas. Unlike some of the more routine climbing destinatios of the past few years Crete has masses of unclimbed rock, with huge new-route potential at all grades.
