Vanoise Park is better known to Brits as the Trois Vallees. On the FrancoItalian border a complex cluster of glaciated peaks and a network of huts give access to walks and climbs at all grades. The generally lower altitude and wealth of accomodation and lifts mean this is a superb area for an adventurous trip, especially in autumn or winter.
