Dave MacLeod is one of the best known climbers of recent years. His reputation as a bold all-rounder on both rock and ice is well earned. His reputation was enhanced in 2007 when he was filmed climbing his audacious project on Hell’s Lum crag in the heart of the Cairngorms.

This new film, first shown on BBC Scotland, follows Dave on his many attempts to  his eventual success. In later interviews Dave has since described the ascent as “the scariest lead of my life”.
